Tips & Tunes at SCC | August 6th

Live Music at SCC on Tuesday Evenings will carry on this summer and we've added a special twist. Starting at 5pm, the golf professional staff will be hosting a one-hour, complimentary practice club on the back of the lower practice facility to offer quick tips and practice techniques to any SCC or CSP Member and their invited guests.
At 6pm the live music starts along with great food and drink specials from Kirkwood's Pub. A pleasant way to have some scheduled practice time before a nice evening with friends, family and live music at SCC.

| Ripe returns for another Summer Concert Series in the Village Green.

The Club will be offering dinner in the Alpine Clubhouse during the concert and will feature some inspired items this week including braised short rib dumpling starter, a nectarine & arugula salad, and for entrees - a ricotta tortelli pomodoro or sumac herb crusted swordfish.

The Cottage will be closed Friday Night for a private member event.
The culinary team has updated the menus with some inspired dishes and to reflect seasonal ingredients. We hope you can join us for dinner this Saturday.
On the appetizer side we have Braised Beef Short Rib Dumplings with Chinese scallion dumpling sauce, or Blistered Shishito Peppers with lemon herb aioli and sea salt. For entrees, there is a Seared Salmon and Stonefruit Panzanella or Wild Sockeye Salmon with peach and nectarine, grilled sourdough, arugula & pickled chili lime vinaigrette.

Take a hike up the long trail to reach the beautiful viewing point of Elephants Head!
Rated Advanced. Some hiking experience necessary. Must be able to walk on varying terrain with many ascents and descents. All ages welcome, but recommended for ages 12 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. At least 1 liter (32 oz.) of water required.

Ladies & Mens Leagues are held at both courses in the hope of building off the great success of the past. Both leagues are 9 holes and will feature fun formats for all. Accompanied guests are encouraged for $35 plus optional $20 cart. These will count as one of the six limited visits all guests are welcomed at each facility.
Men's League does also have a league fee which funds the midseason BBQ and shootout.

Led by a certified Wim Hof Method instructor, this session teaches you a new way to experience your breath whether it be to generate more energy, or to calm your senses through a guided 60 min session outdoors (weather permitting) that focuses on key pillars of the Vigor Outdoors “way of life”: breathwork, bodywork, and mind work.
Class starts with breathing and mobility exercises to calm, stretch, and energize your body, ending with a dip in our “cold plunge" a 150 gal, custom fabricated puncheon barrel, complete with ladder, bench, and plenty of ice. Achieve Hero Sapien status as you allow the 34-degree water to envelope your entire body, while you remain “calm, confident, and in-control” giving you a sense of power unlike any other.

The guest fee will remain the same but lunch, on course contests and a welcome gift will be included. We wanted to remind you to sign-up for our annual Lobster Bake & Golf Tournament which is certainly one the highlights of our summer season on Saturday, August 17th.
Play 9 or 18-holes, or simply come to enjoy the wonderful dinner. This event is family friendly and there is an option for everyone. Accompanied guests are encouraged for golf and/or dinner. Each member can bring up to three guests for the 18-hole event and you will partner with each guest in a best ball format. Bring as many guests for dinner and the 9-hole event as you would like.
The meal takes center stage for this event and is highlighted by hors de oeuvres and a family style dinner including all the classics!
This is truly a can't miss event in a very special setting.
Golf:
18-Hole Division- Includes boxed lunch, golf, tee gift, event prizes and dinner $250pp. 12pm lunch
