Anastasia Bredikhina (BFA ’25, dance), recipient of the Mildred McIntosh Dance Scholarship, describes her favorite spaces in the Dance Building at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, and the ways the building fosters community and supports her dance training. Creative spaces at SMTD are more than bricks and mortar; they are incubators of imagination and innovation. Looking back on her time at SMTD, Anastasia describes the school as “the perfect place” to achieve her goals.
