Ryan Bennett ’24 was named the South Sound region coordinator for Washington Student Engagement Networks. An initiative of Independent Colleges of Washington with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, WA-SEN brings together college students from across the state to engage and educate legislators about the importance of higher education for all Washingtonians. Bennett is excited to help foster direct communication between students and their legislators about issues that impact them.
Kai Correa ’11 was named interim manager of the San Francisco Giants last week. In his first game at the helm, against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Correa was part of the first meeting of Asian American managers in MLB history.
The Logger Volleyball Team dominated Lewis & Clark College on Sept. 23, winning three straight sets against the Pioneers. Katelyn Chekian ’24, Mia Fedota ’27, and Akira Anderson ’26 all contributed to the team's victory on the road.
