Preschoolers at Play

Wednesday, December 13th & 27th

10:00 am | LBK Auditorium

Are you looking for a place where your child can learn through play and interact with others? Join us twice a month for this fun program! We will begin with a short read-aloud and movement time at 10:00 am, followed by a time of free play at toy and activity stations around the auditorium. Open to Preschool ages and their caregiver. No registration is required.

Pages & Panels

Tuesday, December 21st

4:00 pm | Parkway Meeting Room

Read the book or graphic novel, or listen to the audiobook "Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein. Then join us for Pages & Panels as we discuss the book, go on a scavenger hunt, and make a craft!

Open to Elementary Ages. Registration is required.

VR Job Workshop

Monday, December 4th, 11th, and 18th

4:00 pm | Cahaba & Parkway Meeting Rooms

Easterseals will join us next month for a series of virtual reality workshops to help you explore a variety of jobs. These programs will include learning about skills necessary for jobs and experiencing some of them in an interactive way with VR headsets. The program is cumulative. Registering for one program, you sign up for all three dates. This program is open to 6th through 12th graders.

Ukulele Club

Tuesday, December 5th

6:30 pm | Cahaba Meeting Room

Are you interested in learning the ukulele or looking for a place to play the instrument with others? We have a professional ukulele player here to help you learn and perfect your skills! Ukuleles are available for checkout with your library card. This event is open to all ages.

Adult Book Club

Connect with your community and share your thoughts about this month's book, A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross. Adult Book Club now meets on the first Saturday of each month. Ugly Christmas Sweater Decoration Contest
