The Office of Access and Compliance is hosting Building Accessible Workplaces Together Wednesday, October 16, 12:00 – 1:00 pm, in Conference Room C1 in 930 Madison and via Zoom. The presentation will cover the various aspects of what an accessible workplace entails.

Book Signing and Panel Discussion with Dr. Gold

Join Chief Wellness Officer and Associate Professor Jessi Gold, MD, for a panel discussion and signing of her new book, “How Do You Feel? One Doctor's Search for Humanity in Medicine,” Thursday, October 17, at 12:00 pm, in the Mooney Library. The discussion will center around burnout, perfectionism, and personal well-being for those in the health care field. The book will be available for sale at the event, and there will be a raffle to give away 10 copies!

Open Enrollment Ends October 18

The annual Open Enrollment Period is happening now through Friday, October 18. This period gives UT Health Science Center employees an opportunity to enroll in, make changes to, or cancel various insurance coverage. Visit the Benefits website for more details.

Domestic Violence Lunch and Learn

You are invited to a lunch and learn lecture on domestic violence Wednesday, October 23, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, in GEB A202. The presentation will provide an overview of intimate partner violence, including its prevalence and impact. Lunch will be provided for those who register.
