WIN Employees Celebrating Work Anniversaries
Congratulations to our employees celebrating work anniversaries in the month of April! Outside Plant Administrator Bruce Tysor recently celebrated 41 years, HR Manager Steph Thomsen will soon celebrate 24 years and Cellular Specialist Shelby Schleisman just celebrated 6 years with WIN!  
Get Out and Celebrate Lawn and Garden Month April is Lawn and Garden Month. It's the perfect time for planning what you'd like to do to your outdoor spaces this year — from adding perennials to replacing a patio. But before you do any digging, make sure you call 811 to have underground utility lines marked. Thank you in advance for helping to prevent damage! 
We have recently held sign up events in the towns of Vail and Glidden and enjoyed meeting with so many great people. We are planning more events in other locations as well so we can meet face to face with customers outside the walls of our office. As we finish up fiber construction in places like Glidden, Vail and Treynor and move forward with construction in Glenwood, Rural Denison and Southeast Council Bluffs, there is an opportunity for our current customers to save big money through our referral program. For each customer you refer to WIN, you AND the new customer BOTH receive a $50 bill credit! The new customer just needs to give us your name when they sign up for services. You can refer as many customers as you'd like and receive a $50 credit for each. So, if you know of folks who live in any of the areas we currently serve, or any of our new areas where we are constructing fiber optics, be sure to spread the word! Former WIN Building Taking on New Life
The former WIN retail location on Adams Street in Carroll has taken on a new life as HUB 712 and the W Innovation Center. A Carroll Chamber Ribbon Cutting was held recently featuring IEDA Director Debi Durham. This newly renovated space will include many services for entrepreneurs including coworking plans, startup space, innovation services, team building activities, entrepreneurial programming, meeting space rentals and more.
