This year was CAC’s 3rd annual Colors week! Colors Week is a week in January dedicated to celebrating the basketball season. It runs as a second homecoming for the year but without the dance at the end of the week. Each day consists of a different theme that has something to do with color. This year’s themes included grout fit, monochromatic, Bluey, and neon.
Just like homecoming, the student body votes on Colors Day maids and a queen. This year's maids included Riley Brown (6th), Betsy Runsick (7th), Avery Easley (8th), Kensley Heckman (9th), Briley Clements (10th), Caroline Nick (11th), Adison Barham (12th), and Piper Clements (12th). Senior Autumn Powell was elected colors day queen.
Mrs. Hodges and the Student Council work hard each year to bring Colors Week to life. They are responsible for deciding on themes, running chapel games, organizing the pep rally, and of course organizing the colors day court at Friday’s basketball game. They do such an amazing job making the week fun and interesting for the entire student body.
