In December, we hosted the Tufts COP30 student delegates for a debrief on the COP process. Students spoke about the major outcomes from COP30 as well as their experiences being first-time COP30 observers.

| At the beginning of February, Professor Emeritus Bill Moomaw gave an engaging lecture about addressing climate change through false promises (noted as bioenergy, direct air capture, and transitioning to wood building materials) and proven solutions (efficiency gains in current systems, low carbon energy sources, and natural systems).

Also in February, CIERP co-hosted the Governing The Polycene Symposium with the Fletcher Center for International Law and Governance. Dean Gallagher moderated a panel about multidimensional climate change governance.
