| Help commemorate Constitution Day during two events Tuesday, September 17!
A public reading of the US Constitution will be held from noon to 1:15 p.m. in front of the library. Members of the IUP community will take turns reading parts of the Constitution, from the Preamble all the way to the last amendment. Come and take part! That evening, a Chat with the Founding Fathers will take place from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in Jane Leonard Hall, room 126. Enjoy this discussion with three of the Constitution’s authors: Ben Franklin, Charles Pinckney, and James Madison!

Participants will learn about world cultures through examples of rare books, maps, and primary sources. This will include exploring new and old texts from around the world. Enjoy a free lunch while joining FOLDIS for this simulation. Explore the clues found in rare books, illustrated manuscripts, and maps to solve problems and win prizes. This hands-on activity will feature examples of primary sources from the IUP Special Collections and University Archives. It is presented by Harrison Wick and hosted by the Foreign Languages Diversity and Inclusion Series (FOLDIS) and Multicultural Student Support and Programming.
