Congratulations to our Newest Alumni
We absolutely loved celebrating the 3,047 graduates in the Class of 2024 last month. From the Carter Carillon Tradition to the inspiring speakers, to the confetti and everything in between, our 2024 Commencement Ceremonies were a heartfelt celebration of the hard work of each and every graduate.

University Valedictorian
Garrett Shaw, a native of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and a double major in business management and accounting, was named as our 2024 University Valedictorian. Professor Greg Powell, who Garrett calls his most significant SUU mentor, said his contributions in class were some of the finest he has ever had in his courses. Garrett will attend BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School this fall.

Join Us at the Ballpark!
We invite you to join your Thunderbird family for a night at the ballpark in both Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Our Las Vegas ballgame takes place on Friday, June 14, and our Salt Lake City game is Saturday, June 22. Both games include dinner, game tickets, and fireworks show. We hope to see you!

Alumni Days at Shakespeare
Alumni Days at Shakespeare takes center stage June 27-29. Come and enjoy the magic of the Utah Shakespeare Festival and five fabulous plays: Henry VIII, Much Ado About Nothing, The Winter's Tale, The 39 Steps, and The Taming of the Shrew. Plus exclusive events with Festival cast crew. Reservation deadline is June 14.

Illustration Grad Recognized
Recent illustration graduate, Jess Hebertson, has been chosen for the highly esteemed Society of Illustrators New York Student Scholarship competition. Jess' exceptional work earned a coveted spot among the nation's top emerging illustrators, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey.

Come ride a roller coaster with us during our annual SUU Day at Lagoon on Saturday, August 3. We have reserved the Willow & Elm Terraces as homebase for you to rest and recharge. Please purchase your discount tickets by August 1.

Make Plans to Visit SUU
This summer, we hope your plans include a trip down memory lane with a visit to your alma mater. The Admissions Welcome Center invites you and your prospective college student(s) to take a personalized campus tour and learn more about SUU. And be sure and stop by the R. Haze Hunter Alumni Center, say hello to the Alumni Relations Team, pick up a campus discovery guide, and get an alumni t-shirt (while supplies last).
