WashU Clinical Research Professional Apprenticeship Cultivates the Next Generation of Clinical Research Professionals |
|
|
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the clinical research field experienced a noticeable decline in workforce numbers. ICTS-supported staff in the Center for Clinical Studies took action and developed this 12-month program that combines structured on-the-job learning and related instruction in theoretical, technical, and application training. With the successful completion of its first cohort, the apprenticeship has demonstrated the potential to transform how clinical research professionals are trained and supported.
