Calling All Crocheters! Our Prayer Shawl Team Needs You! |
Our Congregational Care Ministry is forming a new team to crochet prayer shawls and pocket prayer squares for our members who are going through times of grief or illness
and might need a little extra love. No matter your skill level or age, you can be a part of this new ministry! Did you know that some of our younger members are crocheting prayer squares during our second service in the pray-ground? If you don’t know how to crochet, we’ll be happy to give you lessons. This is something we can do together, or you can do in your home on your own time schedule. You can provide a reminder of
the love of God to our church family members by wrapping them up in a crocheted hug! To learn more, contact Pam Riggs at 512-680-6644 or priggs1@flash.net .

Thank you Wellspring for successful Cooper Elementary Teacher & Staff Appreciation Projects
In April, Wellspring successfully supported Cooper Elementary as they completed end-of-year scholastic evaluations (STAAR testing) by providing snacks and treats to the staff. We were also able to surprise the teachers, staff, bus drivers, and facility workers with a “Taco Monday” breakfast catered by Mariachis de Jalisco on May 4th. As you enter Wellspring, please take a look at the heartfelt “thank you” poster acknowledging your generosity & support. Please stay tuned for future “back to school” projects when school starts in mid-August.
