Chargers Men’s Basketball Host Final Conference Game Friday, February 20 |

Last week, the Chargers men’s basketball team (16-11, 7-6 OEC) split two conference matchups, falling to Fullerton College before bouncing back with a strong 85–67 win over Saddleback College.
This week, the team visited Riverside City College and defeated the Tigers, 88-82.
The Chargers now prepare to host Santa Ana College on Friday, February 20 at 5 p.m. to close out the regular season ahead of the 3C2A playoffs.

| The Cypress women’s basketball team (20-7, 7-4 OEC) closed last week with a strong bounce-back performance, highlighted by Chris Jackson’s standout 20-point, six-assist, eight-rebound effort in the win.
Last night, the Chargers were victorious on the road at Riverside City College, 51-42.
The Chargers now turn their focus to hosting Santa Ana College at 7 p.m. to wrap up the regular season ahead of the 3C2A playoffs.

Chargers Baseball Kickstarts a Win Streak |

The Cypress College baseball team extended their win streak by three this week. The Chargers (7-3) started last week off with a win against LA Valley with a final score of 7-2.
The Chargers then traveled to Cerritos to defeat the Falcons 9-5. They then hosted to wrap up the week with a 9-1 win over Long Beach City. Ben Keisler led the offense with two homers and three RBI's for the week.
The Chargers will look to host LA Mission on Friday, February 20 at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for a double header event.

Chargers Softball On the Road at Citrus College Thursday, February 26 |

Cypress College softball (2-1) defended home turf last week with an 8–2 victory over Citrus College, powered by a dominant outing from Pitcher, Haley Tucker, who struck out eight over 5.2 innings to earn the win. At the plate, Lynsey Arostigue delivered a big performance with multiple RBI doubles to spark the Chargers’ early offensive surge, while Mia Alvarez closed out the final 1.1 innings in relief.
Cypress later dropped its first game of the season to El Camino College and will hit the road next Thursday to face the Owls at 2 p.m.

Chargers Swim & Dive Break Records First Week Back |
Cypress College swim and dive opened 2026 with a statement performance at the El Camino 3x Invitational, as the women placed third overall with 114 points and the men followed with a strong fourth-place finish (59 points) behind Las Positas College and host El Camino College. On the women’s side, Chantee Nguyen swept the butterfly events with meet records in the 100 (59.89) and 200 (2:12.14), while Jasmine Liu broke three school records in the breaststroke in her collegiate debut. The men answered with record-breaking swims of their own, highlighted by Sean Eoin Tannehill’s meet record and victory in the 200 butterfly (2:01.07) and Gio Demuro’s record-setting 48.78 in the 100 freestyle.
Strong depth across both lineups signaled an exciting start for the Chargers as they head into Orange Empire Conference competition at Saddleback College on Friday, February 27 at 9:30 a.m.

Chargers Beach Volleyball Compete at El Camino College on Friday, February 20 |

| Cypress College beach volleyball (0-2) opened the season at Rosie's Dog Beach in Long Beach against Rio Hondo and Bakersfield College.
The Chargers now look to bounce back as they travel to El Camino College on Friday, February 20 to take on the host Warriors and Glendale City College.
Cypress will then shift its focus to the start of Orange Empire Conference play next week.

Chargers Women's Flag Football Undefeated on Home Turf |

Cypress College women’s flag football (3-1) delivered a historic home stand, earning back-to-back victories over East Los Angeles College (19–12) and El Camino College (58–13).
In the inaugural home game, quarterback Mia Cabral accounted for multiple touchdowns to secure the milestone win, while the defense came up with timely interceptions to seal it. The Chargers followed with an explosive offensive showcase against El Camino, racking up 385 total yards as Cabral threw for 334 yards and four touchdowns, highlighted by big performances from Melony Bernabe and Emma Farias.
The team will now visit Saddleback College for a tournament on Friday, February 20.

Chargers Men’s Golf Finishes 5th In First Tournament of the Season |

The Cypress College men’s golf team opened the 2026 season with a fifth-place finish at Soboba Springs Golf Course in San Jacinto, posting a team score of 314. Ian Shahwan led the Chargers with a steady 77 to place among the tournament’s top 20, while Ethan Nash followed closely with a 78 highlighted by two early birdies.
The Chargers look to compete in the Riverside Invitational at Victoria Country Club on Monday, February 23 at 11 a.m.
