The best way to sustain the ministries of Wellspring is to make an online pledge. Your consistent giving allows us to plan ministries that transform lives. Your pledge is not the same as setting up a recurring giving method. Rather, it is your promise to support the church financially in the coming year. And it only takes a few minutes to set up!
Make your online pledge at wellumc.org/giving/pledge Thank you!
Note: Need a little help? You might try watching last year's tutorial video [click here]. And if you still have trouble, need a paper pledge card, or need further assistance, feel free to contact the church office and we'll be glad to assist you!

Support UM Higher Education—Run the Jameson 5k at Southwestern October 26th |
|
|
Each year, Southwestern University—one of two institutions of higher education with Methodist roots in Central Texas—holds the Jameson 5k Fun Run/1k Campus Mosey benefitting the Jaysn Jameson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Founded in memory of SU graduate Jaysn Jameson, the fund supports an annual scholarship for an in-need science student.
The chip-timed race is run each year during Homecoming on SU’s famed cross-country track. Your $30 registration fee includes a commemorative t-shirt while supplies last. Student/senior discounts are available, as are virtual options for those who can’t attend in-person. Stick around after the race for snacks and see if you’ve won one of dozens of fabulous door prizes, such as gift certificates to local restaurants, free oil changes, and more!
For more about how your donation helps fund science education at Southwestern and to register, please visit https://www.jameson5k.com/.

Aging and…
Preparing for Loss,
Recognizing Grief,
and
Coping with the New Life Changes it Brings |
Whoever said that growing older isn’t for wimps really knew what they were talking about! Sometimes it seems like our lives are constantly changing - from joints that give out with new limitation or new diagnoses, to the loss of old friends, to downsizing from a beloved home, and the greatest loss, the death of our loved ones. It seems like grief becomes our constant companion. Pastor Jeff will lead us to understanding loss and
grief as we age and healthy ways to cope with this time in our lives. Join us for this last Pathways to Peace of Mind workshop.

“Stepping Out”
Scripture Passages: Romans 16:1-16,
Psalm 68:4-11
In scripture, there is a theme of women stepping out of their “place” to do Christ’s work in the world. Even in the midst of persecution, women throughout time have worked for justice for the least of these, and we are called to follow their example of “stepping out” in order to bring about God’s Kingdom on earth.
