Call to participate in AI literacy study (UGRD)
The University Library and Center for Teaching & Learning are conducting a study on AI literacy among undergraduate students. We are conducting one-hour, confidential Zoom interviews to learn about students’ experiences and perspectives on AI in their education. The first ten students to complete an interview will receive their choice of a Stanley, Yeti, Hydroflask or Owala water bottle. Friends of the University Library Book Bin open Feb. 4–5
The Friends of the University Library Book Bin, located on the lower level of the University Library, will be open for used book sales from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, and Thursday, Feb. 5. Students are invited to browse the Book Bin’s interesting and extensive inventory. Gently used hardback and trade paperback books are $2 each or three for $5. The collection also includes artwork, music scores, audio recordings, long-playing records, CDs, DVDs and a large selection of children’s books. Cash or check only. All proceeds directly support the University Library.

Graduate Research Showcase
The Showcase is a professional development opportunity occurring right here at Sac State! Modeled after professional conferences, this common conference feature, the Graduate Research Showcase will allow students to display their research in a poster format as well as hold smaller discussions with showcase attendees. Culminating Experience Workshop registration
The Office of Graduate Studies requires all students to attend a mandatory Culminating Experience Format Workshop in their final semester. The workshop is designed to help students understand the final steps to degree completion and format their culminating experience or develop strategies for studying for the Comprehensive Examination. Free 24/7 health and wellness support for Sac State students
Sac State students have free access to health and wellness support both on campus and online. Student Health, Counseling and Wellness Services offers in-person and virtual care during business hours, Monday–Thursday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Friday 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Outside of those hours, students can use TimelyCare for 24/7 access to on-demand medical care, emotional support, and self-care resources at no cost. No insurance is required, and TimelyCare is available to all currently enrolled students.
