“Life After Doom: Wisdom and Courage for a World Falling Apart” by Brian McLaren
When we consider everything going wrong in our world, is there any wonder we are living with a sense of doom? This study will help us face the realities that confront us and then to give us tools to live with resilience, determination, and faith. If you are interested in being part of an on-line book study, Contact Beverly Smythia (bsmythia@gmail.com)
Hearts Transformed Class, Rm 203, 2nd Floor
This class studies the weekly worship sermon. "Discerning Spirits”
Scripture Passages: 1 John 4:1-6; Mark 5:1-20
The demoniac believes the demons set him free (from chains), but they keep him enslaved. Our demons are the things that make us “of the world” meaning we have too narrow a view of ourselves. That view can be our own false freedom.
