Victoria's Climate Change Strategy - Have Your Say

The Victorian Government is preparing its second Climate Change Strategy and you are invited to have your say and help to shape its development.

A summary paper is provided, detailing how climate change is impacting Victoria and actions the Victorian Government is already taking. It is encouraged you review this paper before completing the survey or making a written submission.

Nature Repair Market

Do you do projects that improve biodiversity outcomes?

The Commonwealth Government’s Nature Repair Market is a voluntary national biodiversity market scheme. It encourages people and businesses to invest in projects that restore and protect our natural environment.

If you undertake a project with activities that are going to improve local habitat, you can apply for a biodiversity certificate. On the Nature Repair Market, you can then sell that biodiversity certificate to generate income.

Grants and Training Opportunities

Victorian Landcare Grants - Closing 16 April 2025

Funded by the State Government, these grants support Landcare and environmental volunteer groups and networks with on-ground works, education and capacity building projects that protect and restore our land and natural environment.

Victorian Landcare and environmental volunteer groups and networks that are community-led and have a focus on on-ground land and natural environment improvement work are eligible to apply.

Applications can be made through your regional Catchment Management Authority (CMA).

Bunurong Cultural Education Session - Wednesday 9 April

Join Bunurong Elder Jillian West for a session to increase your knowledge and understanding of the issues, past and present, that affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and communities. You will also gain information that will help you to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people.

For four decades, this dedicated group has been making a lasting impact on the environment, growing and planting 10,000+ plants every year to restore landscapes and support biodiversity.

Goulburn Murray Landcare Network Celebrates 30 Years

This year marks 30 years of the Goulburn Murray Landcare Network supporting communities to care for the environment! Since the 1990s, the network has worked alongside 50+ Landcare and community groups and committees to protect and restore our landscapes.
