While IUP Homecoming is always special, this Saturday’s festivities celebrate the school’s 150th anniversary. IUP scholar in residence and chemistry graduate Howard “Skip” Kingston has won a 2025 R&D 100 Award, honoring the top 100 science and technology innovations of the past year. It is his fourth such award. Learn about Thor’s Hammer, the winning innovation that makes the detailed analysis of minute blood samples possible.
