Preparing for Finals
As you prepare for your final exams, use the Study Cycle as a guide.
Step 1: Preview course material to understand the big picture and anticipate how concepts fit together.
Step 2: Attend class, and be attentive and engaged to gain insight from your instructor and students in your class.
Step 3: Review course material soon after class while the information is still fresh, and summarize the key points.
Step 4: Study by scheduling several focused study sessions for each class before the final exam.
Step 5: Check in with yourself to ensure you understand the course material strongly by assessing your knowledge regularly.
