K-10 Connector to be Suspended |
Johnson County Transit has notified us that they are suspending the K-10 Connector service through the summer. The last day of service will be May 15, and they anticipate starting back up August 23, pending further review. Please contact Johnson County Transit for additional information.
|
Park & Ride will be returning and there will be a limit on the number of yellow parking permits sold on the main part of campus. These changes are designed to make it easier to find parking, especially during busy times, and better align parking demand with available spaces.
|
- About 700 fewer yellow permits will be sold for 2026–27.
- Students, faculty, and staff will have the option to purchase Park & Ride, if they want a lower-priced parking permit.
- Once surface and garage yellow permits sell out, Park & Ride permits will be the remaining option available to students.
-
Park & Ride locations will be on West Campus in Lots 302 and 300 in sections B & C, with shuttle service to Jayhawk Boulevard via Sunnyside Avenue on Route 41 .
|
Student Senate has approved an increase to the SafeRide fee as part of the required campus fees package, and we are pleased to announce that we will be able to restart the program next fall. We are working on the implementation phase over the summer, keep an eye out for additional information ahead of classes starting in August.
