Pizza lunch volunteers needed

The success of this year’s Pizza Lunch will depend on parent volunteers stepping up to help on the day of the event (January 28). Depending on your interests, you can assist with our check-in table group greeting and providing tickets to guests or with our lunch helpers group serving meals. A variety of time slots are available, so volunteering will still allow you to enjoy the Pizza Lunch with your own kids. Click here to sign up now. Your generous gift of time is appreciated!

All incoming Kindergarten and Grade 7 students (current 6th grade students) are required to have a physical exam completed before the fall of 2026 school year. Exams must be between March 1, 2026 and August 1, 2026. As soon as the physical exam is completed, the paperwork can be turned in at school. There is a form on the website that may be used. Included on the form are immunization dates, a full physical exam, vision screening, hearing screening, and health history. Your child’s physician does not need to use our form, but he/she will need to include all of the same information. Vision screening is required for students entering Kindergarten. It is not technically required for students entering the 7th grade. However, if you ask for it to be completed during the visit, it will save your student some class time in the fall during school health screenings. Students’ physical exam forms and up-to-date immunization list must be turned in by August 1, 2026. Students will not be able to start school until these forms are turned in. Please see the link below for Nebraska immunization requirements and the health exam form. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out.

The registration paperwork can be found on our school website www.svdp-school.org under the Click and Go section. You will pay the $500 registration fee online starting February 20th (you will receive a mailing from FACTS, our online tuition and registration fees provider at that time).  Please contact Courtney Eden at edenc@svdpomaha.org with any questions.

Lunch Account Balances

Effective Monday, February 26th, if your student has a negative lunch account balance, they will be unable to purchase any extra a la carte items, which includes juice, water bottles, or extra milk for grades 2nd through 8th and grains, yogurts, cheese sticks, or “seconds” for grades 6th through 8th. A lunch will always be provided no matter the lunch balance. A lunch includes the entrée, fruits, vegetables, and grains from the serving line, the fruit and vegetable bar, and 1 milk. Free water is available at all times. If you have questions about your student's account balance please contact either Ray Bentzen at bentzenr@svdpomaha.org or Amy Dougherty at doughertya@svdpomaha.org.

Registration for the Spring 2026 CYSL and Micro Soccer seasons is now open using the following link:

Spring 2026 SVDP Soccer Registration

Registration for CYSL Soccer (kindergarten through 8th grade) will end on Sunday, 2/15/26. Registration for Micro Soccer will end on Sunday 3/15/26.

Sports Connect, the platform that was previously used for soccer registrations, was recently acquired by Playmetrics. As a result, we will be transitioning to using Playmetrics this spring. When registering, parents will need to create new profiles for each child that is being registered or will need to "add" them to our organization if you have previously used Playmetrics with an outside organization. Additional information regarding the Playmetrics app for team communication will be sent to parents following registration and team formation.

Please email Tara Sands at svdpsoccerclub@gmail.com with any questions regarding CYSL registration, and Courtney McGuire at svdpmicro@gmail.com with any questions regarding Micro Soccer.
