Congratulations to the winners of the Pro-Life Essay Contest in which all of the 7th & 8th graders participated. The Honorable Mentions are Myra Kandel, Olivia Clayton, Isabella Gregory, and Evelynne Ward. The runner-up from 7th Grade is Brielle Henderson. The first place winner from 7th Grade is Alexis Baas. The runners-up (Tie) from 8th Grade are Amelia Dolan and Drew Santos. The first place winner from 8th Grade is Zelie Niehaus. The overall winner of the contest out of all of the essays is Grace Barna. Congratulations to all of our winners! The essays of our winners and runners-up have been submitted to the Pro-Life Office of the Omaha Archdiocese to compete with other essays from the Omaha area. Good luck to our students! Thank you to all of the students for their hard work and their heartfelt thoughts regarding the gift of life, and a big thank you to Mr. Dunn who incorporated this essay contest into his religion classes.

Upcoming School Mass
Celebrate on Wednesday, April 3rd, as Mr. Dunn's Room 81 plans and leads our All School Mass.
Want to attend your child's school Mass without distraction? We now are offering free childcare during school Masses. Please feel free to drop off your little ones in the Guardian Angels room located across from the parish Family Room as early as 8 A.M. We will have providers there after Mass as well to allow parents time for fellowship. If you have questions, please contact Lisa Maxson at maxsonl@svdpomaha.org.
Everyone is welcome to attend Mass and then stay for the SVdP Parents Coffee Club at Heavenly Grounds in the Parish Center. Come to Mass with the students and then stay after and meet new parents or catch up with old friends. Coffee and snacks are provided!

School supply shopping just got easier! Beginning next year, families will have the option of purchasing pre-packaged school supply kits. Not only will these kits contain all of the required supplies, but they will also be delivered directly to your child’s classroom prior to the first day of school. Track season is once again upon us with our first meet in the books. We competed at the indoor track at the College of Saint Mary last Saturday. As a team, the Girls won the meet!
Then for individuals that placed top 6 overall:
Zelie Niehaus - 1st in 60 meter dash, 2nd and tying the school record for the 200 meter dash, 2nd in Long Jump
Isabella Gregory - 5th in 60 meter dash, 6th in the 200 meter dash
Alexa Franzlubbers - 3rd in 400 meter dash
Hana Huang - 5th 400 meter dash
Julia Maiers - 6th 400 meter dash
Gabrielle Kenny - 3rd 800 meter run
Tatum Houghton - 2nd in the 1600 meter run and setting a new school record
Mya Igwenma - 1st 60 meter hurdles
Addie Jones - 3rd in Shot Put
Ellie Skradski - 6th in shot put

Help put smiles on students' faces by preparing fresh cooked meals daily! Duties include prepping meals, serving students meals, running the Point of Sale program, cleaning up after meal service is completed, and assisting in the kitchen in other areas as needed. It is a fast-paced environment with some heavy lifting involved. Easy way to get your work out! Work hours follow the school calendar. The hours are M-F 7:30 to 2:00 on all days that school lunch is served with benefits available. EVANGELIZATION COORDINATOR POSITION NOW OPEN AT SVdP – SVdP is currently seeking applicants for an Evangelization Coordinator. The Evangelization Coordinator will direct parish evangelization efforts. The role also includes program creation and management, discipleship formation, and forming teams of staff and volunteers to develop and maintain the steps of the parish's Clear Path of Discipleship. This position plays an active role in parish leadership, volunteer coordination, and program and ministry support.

CALLING ALL BAKERS! Please consider donating baked items to the Spring Bake Sale sponsored by the Family Guild to be held after all Masses on April 13-14. Please mark your donated items $1 to $3 for small items, $4 to $6 for medium items, and $7 to $10 for larger items. A basket will be available for cash donations. All proceeds from the sale will support parish funeral luncheons, school scholarships and much more. Baked goods can be dropped off Saturday afternoon (April 13) inside the SW door by the parish center on designated Bake Sale cart.
