Divine Nine Garden Unveiling: Join us at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 9 in The Quad for the Divine Nine Garden unveiling! This dedicated space on UMKC's Volker campus will honor and recognize the nine Black Greek organizations that make up the National Pan-Hellenic Council, also known as the Divine Nine. It will also serve as a gathering place for students and alumni to meet, celebrate, host events and reflect on the importance and achievements of their respective organizations.
UMKC IKEA Day: IKEA and UMKC are joining forces! From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 25, UMKC students and staff can enjoy a 15% discount by showing their Roo card.
St. Joseph School of Medicine Groundbreaking: In partnership with Mosaic Life Care, the School of Medicine will break ground on a state-of-the-art medical education facility in St. Joseph aimed at increasing the number of physicians practicing in rural Missouri and surrounding areas. Join us 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29 at the future site of the UMKC School of Medicine St. Joseph Campus on Faraon St. and N. Riverside Road.
Roo Advising Canvas Advising Site: Roo Advising is excited to announce a new Canvas site to help undergraduate students better understand the purpose and function of academic advising.  All undergraduate students, except those in the School of Medicine, will be enrolled in the course.  The course includes helpful resources and includes modules to assist students to contact their advisor, schedule appointments, register for classes and plan for graduation. 
UMKC SI and Tutoring: Each time you attend a supplemental instruction session, tutoring appointment, or tutoring drop-in, make sure your attendance is logged for a chance to win a new iPad. Tutoring will provide two winners with an iPad 10th Generation. There will be one winner for attending SI sessions, one winner for attending tutoring.

UMKC Choirs: Love to sing? Join a choir at UMKC!
We have four choirs and a place for everyone who would like to participate. Whether you have years of singing experience or would like to try it for the first time, we have a choir for you. We will hold placement auditions on Friday, August 18, Saturday, August 19, and Sunday, August 20 in Grant Hall (5228 Charlotte St.)
