Chancellor King named a top executive in southern Wisconsin 

The Milwaukee Business Journal selected Chancellor Corey A. King as a 2025 C-Suite Star in the Top Executive category. Chancellor King, the only higher education leader among honorees, has overseen three straight years of enrollment growth and instilled a Warhawk Bold mentality at the university

First-Gen Celebration Reception 

Join us at noon outside of Roberta’s Art Gallery on Monday, Nov. 3, as we kick off National First-Generation College Celebration week with a reception, exhibit, and remarks. Listen to a brief program that includes Chancellor Corey A. King and other first-gen Warhawks from 12-12:30, and enjoy light refreshments and the exhibit, which showcases first-gen students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

This week: Roberta’s Art Gallery exhibit

The "Ofrenda de Día de Muertos" exhibit runs Oct. 27-Nov. 3 in Roberta’s Art Gallery. Explore this tradition honoring departed loved ones with offerings and join us Tuesday, Oct. 28, for a reception at 6 p.m. followed by an open house from 7-8 p.m. This event — presented with the Spanish Club, Latinos Unidos, and the departments of World Languages and Cultures and Race and Ethnic Studies — is free and open to the public.

Friday: Escape Rooms on campus 

Enjoy four themed rooms at UC Live’s Escape Rooms this Friday, Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, with games and activities while you wait, but sign up ahead of time to reserve your spot. This event is free for enrolled UW-Whitewater students.

UW-Whitewater places 179 student teachers in the region

A total of 179 Warhawks are representing the university as student teachers at schools in Wisconsin, Illinois, and other neighboring states during the 2025 fall semester.

Students excel in state sales competition

Four marketing majors led UW-Whitewater to a runner-up finish at the 2025 Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up on October 9-11 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
