2025 Business of the Year: Equalized Productions

Equalized Productions is being honored as the 2025 Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year for consistently going above and beyond for its clients, employees, and community while demonstrating remarkable longevity and growth.
Celebrating 25 years in business, Equalized Productions has not only navigated challenging seasons, including the COVID-19 pandemic, but has continued to expand, retain its staff, and create new jobs. At the heart of this success is a distinctive, heart-led leadership approach and a strong sense of “work family” that defines the company’s culture.
Equalized Productions is also deeply committed to the Arvada community. The company frequently partners with and supports local non-profits, prioritizes doing business locally, sponsors and participates in community events, and generously donates time and resources to neighbors and causes in need. Much of this service happens quietly, without fanfare, yet its impact is felt throughout the community.

2025 Non-profit of the Year: Family Tree

Family Tree is being recognized as the 2025 Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce Non-profit of the Year for its transformational work addressing the interconnected challenges of child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness in our community.
For 49 years, Family Tree has been a trusted source of hope, safety, and opportunity for individuals and families in crisis. In 2025, the organization reached a major milestone with the opening of Marshall Street Landing, a groundbreaking development that provides 85 fully furnished homes with on-site, 24/7 case management for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Marshall Street Landing represents Arvada’s first and only Permanent Supportive Housing option, combining stable housing with comprehensive wraparound services. This evidence-based approach empowers residents to pursue education, employment, financial stability, and improved health, creating lasting pathways to independence and long-term stability.

2025 Entrepreneurs of the Year: Chris and Deana Hill, Odyssey Beerwerks

Chris and Deana Hill of Odyssey Beerwerks are the recipients of the 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for building a thriving, values-driven brewery that seamlessly blends innovation, hospitality, and deep community engagement.
As founders of a 21+ neighborhood brewery and taproom, Chris and Deana have created an “adult escape” that is warm, welcoming, and intentionally focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences. Their team knows regulars by name, actively listens to feedback, and continually refines beers, events, and service to exceed expectations.
Their entrepreneurial leadership extends far beyond the brewery. Odyssey Beerwerks regularly hosts and supports fundraisers, collaborations, and community events that raise dollars and awareness for local causes, while drawing visitors to Arvada as a destination.
Chris has made significant contributions to the local business ecosystem through six years of service on the Greater Arvada Chamber Board of Directors, including work on the Board Selection Committee. He is a founding member of the Chamber’s Business Mastery Group and has served in leadership roles with the Arvada Visitors Center Board, Entrepreneurship KAPS Council, the Beverage Industry Roundtable, and on numerous panels with City and County leaders.
