There are two new block quote styles available for use on modular pages that utilize University branding. These styles are "Default Style" – which features a green vertical line on the left side of the quote in Mackinac font – and "Expanded Style" – a bolder option in green, Termina font. Using a block quote style is a great way to visually break up content and draw emphasis to a quote/testimonial. Block quotes should only be used for an actual quote.

As you review your pages, you may notice this new style appearing in unexpected places. Many pages have existing <blockquotes> that came from previously copying and pasting content or were used intentionally to indent information. These blockquotes are now displaying with the new style automatically, so you may see a green vertical line on the left hand side of your content. This can be removed by deleting <blockquote> from your source code, or by selecting the content and then deselecting blockquote [the quotation mark icon] in the text editor.

UCM's web team recently overhauled the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) website. The updated site has a streamlined navigation organized so that international students and visiting scholars can easily find the information they need. Thank you to all those who worked together over the course of several months to make this happen.

Departments are making great strides toward implementing their web document plan. Hundreds of outdated PDFs have been deleted from the Drupal system. Many others have been converted to webpages or remediated by the vendor. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.
