TCU Welcomes Record-Breaking Class Back to Campus and Fort Worth

“Welcome Home” celebration marks first day of classes and is open to media with prior RSVP

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (August 14, 2025) — On Monday, Texas Christian University (TCU) will kick off its 152nd academic year by welcoming more than 13,000 students, including more than 2,700 first-year students, the largest incoming class in university history, back to campus and Fort Worth.  The “Welcome Home” celebration is staged on Sesquicentennial Plaza featuring giveaways, food trucks and plenty of Horned Frog spirit.

Chancellor Daniel W. Pullin will be available for media stand-up from 12:15-12:30 p.m.

The “Welcome Home” event celebrating the first day of classes featuring giveaways, food trucks and more.
