The Work of Becoming!
Dear CHHSN Community,
March offers a natural checkpoint in the academic year. The early momentum of the semester has settled, and this is when steady, focused, and intentional progress truly takes shape.
As Toro Nation continues conversations around enrollment growth, retention, Academic Portfolio Transformation, and resource stewardship, I want to center us on one message: stay focused and aligned! Our CHHSN Strategic Plan 2025-2030 remains our anchor. The priorities we identified together, strengthening student success, advancing academic excellence, building workforce pathways, and stewarding our resources responsibly, are fully aligned with the university and CSU direction. We are not chasing every new conversation. We are moving forward with clarity and purpose.
This is the ongoing “work of becoming”. Our students are preparing for professional practice. Faculty guide and challenge them. Staff keep our programs strong behind the scenes. Real growth happens through steady effort and shared responsibility. As we move through the remainder of the semester, we will stay aligned with our commitments, make thoughtful adjustments when needed, and manage our resources with care and transparency.
Go Toros!
