Textbook Access Program
Villanova offers the Textbook Access Program in partnership with Barnes and Noble College, the University’s bookstore partner. Students are automatically enrolled in the program each semester, with the opportunity to opt out between Monday, July 27 and Friday, Sept. 4. You can choose to have your physical textbooks and printed materials shipped to you for a fee, or pick them up in Room 10A of Garey Hall when you arrive on campus. Transfer Student Society
The Transfer Student Society is dedicated to supporting and welcoming all incoming and current transfer students at Villanova. Our mission is to help every transfer student feel a true sense of belonging by fostering meaningful connections and helping them find their place and new home here. Through our peer mentorship program, incoming transfer students are paired with experienced Villanova transfers who provide guidance, answer questions, and offer support throughout their transition to Villanova. Beyond mentorship, the Transfer Student Society hosts social events that connect transfer students across all class years and collaborates with other student organizations to make getting involved on campus easier and less intimidating. No matter where you're transferring from, you'll always have a community ready to welcome and support you at Villanova.

Reminder: Set Up Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for Your Villanova Account
As part of Villanova’s ongoing commitment to protecting your account, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is transitioning to Microsoft Authenticator. This change will make signing in even simpler and more secure using a number-matching technique. Before arriving on campus, be sure to download the Microsoft Authenticator app and follow the setup steps provided. You have been grouped into cohorts and assigned a specific date for your transition from Duo to Authenticator. Be on the lookout for email communication outlining the expected impact and necessary enrollment actions. Taking a few minutes to enroll now will help ensure seamless access to your Villanova email, services and resources when the semester begins.

Health Insurance Waiver
Health insurance is mandatory for all undergraduate matriculated students. The insurance waiver and enrollment period for the Fall 2026 semester is now open. This waiver or enrollment must be completed annually while you are at Villanova.
If you have health insurance coverage that will cover medical expenses when in Villanova, Pennsylvania, you can opt out of Villanova’s Health Insurance plan. If coverage is not waived by Friday, Sept. 4, you will be responsible for the charge. Complete details and requirements can be found on the Student Health Center's Health Insurance Information and Requirements page under the "Undergraduate Matriculated Students" (Domestic and International) drop down. Once your waiver is approved, the charge will be removed from your account.
