Folks take advantage of a late winter day with spring-like temperatures to cycle and walk on a greenway on main campus, near campus rec.

Highlights – March 2026

Bike Month Poster Competition

In celebration of Bike Month, NC State Transportation invites students to design posters promoting biking on campus. Submit hand-drawn entries at Administrative Services I and digital entries online from March 24–26 for a chance to win WolfTrails swag and be featured on NC State Transportation social media. Winners will be announced on April 3.

GoTriangle March Service Changes

GoTriangle has updated routes 100, 310 and 700, plus a new Route 705 to improve regional connections. Learn more about changes to your commute.

 

Biking

Safe Cycling

Practice an obstacle course, learn hand signals, shift gears with confidence, and review NC bike laws at our Safe Cycling Workshop! Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher.

Library to Library Bike Ride

Join us for a social bike ride with the Bike Library. We’ll ride together from D.H. Hill Library to the Bike Library Cafe (600 W Cabarrus St) and back, learn how to track your trip using GoPerks, and wrap up the ride with a raffle.

Smart Cycling Class

Black Girls Do Bike: Raleigh Durham is hosting a Smart Cycling Class! This League of American Bicyclists program teaches essential bike-handling skills, road and trail safety, avoidance skills and on-road riding confidence. The full class includes classroom instruction, parking-lot drills and real-world road practice, and is the first step to becoming a League Certified Instructor.

Join GoTriangle’s Mobility Madness to swap solo drives for walking, biking, transit or carpooling. Track trips in Share The Ride NC to compete for prizes while helping reduce congestion and emissions across the Triangle.

Bike Bash

Celebrate cycling and support youth bike programs at Bike Bash in Raleigh, helping expand access to riding, trails and active transportation across the community.
