Hello friends and colleagues – hoping each of you had a great summer. We at RKTB have exciting news to share!

This fall, RKTB Architects is announcing our new firm leadership. Our three principals, Peter Bafitis, Albert Aronov and Alex Brito, will now head the firm. Congratulations to these advancing and successful architects!

In his role, Peter continues as managing principal and takes on the mantle of president. Albert also leads RKTB’s award-winning academic studio, and Alex continues his excellent leadership of our influential multifamily studio. The three partners are looking forward to carrying on the RKTB legacy while taking on new and exciting project challenges. As always they are supported in leadership and client service efforts by associate principal Nelson Vega.

At the same time, our firm founder Carmi Bee, FAIA is stepping back from his day-to-day duties and transitioning to a new role as principal emeritus. Carmi continues to be involved in the firm’s activities and special projects, advising the firm while also enjoying time away pursuing varied interests.

The result of extensive planning and strategic growth opportunities for RKTB Architects, this leadership transition is a timely and positive development. You’ll read about it soon in the news, but we wanted you to be the first to know.

Please join us in applauding the new leadership team and the successes RKTB has enjoyed with Carmi’s inspired leadership! We will be reaching out soon to invite you to an in-person celebration of this exciting moment, so please stay tuned.
