Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for the 25-26 school year has begun. For registration, please contact Courtney Eden at edenc@svdpomaha.org with any questions.

The registration for the 2025-2026 ASC program will open Saturday, April 12, at 8:00 A.M. Last year, the program filled very quickly. If your family needs ASC services, please be ready to register at 8:00 A.M. April 12. 

This program is available for students in grades K-8 during the 2025-2026 school year. 

The link for the signup will be available in the Click-and-Go section on the school homepage and will go live at that time.

With the end of the school year rapidly approaching, please look at your child’s lunch account balance and make necessary deposits. If your child has a negative account balance, they should not purchase additional items such as juice, water bottles, or a la carte items. Effective Monday, April 14th we will decline the purchase of any item other than a meal for any student that carries a deficit account balance. Contact Amy Dougherty at doughertya@svdpomaha.org with any questions. Last day for hot lunch is Thursday May 15th. 

Hello, Parents! Sign ups for Field Day are here! It's time to start looking at those calendars and plan ahead. This year is going to be a real wet one with our Wet and Wild theme! Each station will involve water and a good time. I have included a supply list of things that we will need to make this the wettest Field Day ever. Volunteers, you are more than welcome to jump in the fun at your station. Volunteers must have current Safe Environment certification. Thank you again for all of your support on this day. It cannot happen without your time and energy.

Thank you to parents who have completed and submitted the Annual Student Health Update Form already.  

In addition to providing immunization and other updates, the form allows parents to authorize the school to seek emergency medical treatment for children if necessary and to authorize the school to follow its asthma/anaphylaxis protocol for a student if applicable. Such authorizations are essential in order for school staff to act appropriately in critical situations.

Form submissions are due by May 1, 2025. To complete forms for your children, log into your parent PowerSchool account, click on Forms in the left navigation pane, and then open and complete the health form. The form will need to be completed and submitted for all children individually.

St. Vincent de Paul school is accepting applications for Teacher Associate for the 2025-2026 school year. Will consider part-time or full-time. Candidate will assist Teacher with daily activities. Girls on the Run at SVdP is looking for new coaches for the 2025 Fall season. You don't need to be a runner to be a coach. We are looking for people who are motivating, positive, and want to make an impact on young people. At the Millard West Speech Tournament held last Friday, April 4th, Gabriella Rodriguez was a finalist in Impromptu Speaking. Congratulations, Gabriella.

Congratulations to Henry Houghton who won first place in the 6th grade division of the Omaha Public Library writing contest.

The boys, as a team, placed 7th. The following placed top 8 overall in their events:

Gabe Gregory - 4th in the 110 meter hurdles

Kendrick Mane - 6th in the 200 meter dash

John Boesch - 8th in the 200 meter dash, 4th in the 1600 meter run

Wesley Muchowicz - 3rd in the high jump, 8th in the long jump, 4th in the triple jump

Logan Smith - 6th in the shot put

Isaac Burcham - 7th in the shot put

4x100 meter relay-4th place (Gabe Gregory, Henry Leise, Logan Smith, Hayden Audino)

4x400 meter relay-3rd place (Nolan Cheney, Hayden Audino, Charlie Dietz, John Boesch)

FALL 2025 VOLLEYBALL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Registrations for the fall 2025 SVdP Volleyball season are now being accepted (must be enrolled at SVdP School or in SVdP Religious Formation). Registrations are due May 9, 2025, with a $75.00 per participant fee payable at the time of registration. A $50.00 jersey fee will also be due for first time participants or players needing to replace last year's jersey with a new size. Click here for more information and to register.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! TOTUS TUUS SUMMER CAMP for children (parishioners) in grades 1-12 (Fall grades) will be the week of June 8-13, 2025.

*Grades 1-6 will meet Monday-Friday, June 9-13 from 9:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. (We have limited space. Once we are filled, we will have a waiting list.)

*Grades 7-12 meet Sunday-Thursday, June 8-12 from 6:30 P.M. - 8:45 P.M.

DEACON DON RETIRES JULY 1

Deacon Don Clausen has informed us that he will be retiring from his position as IT Manager for our parish, effective July 1. Don has worked in this capacity for us since the early 2000’s, and we are so grateful for all the ways that this ministry has impacted our parish over the years. Don has been a part of the parish since the beginning, and has had many, many roles here. Deacon Don, we wish you all the best in your retirement!
