Grandparents Day at SVdP

On Monday, April 20, the students in grades K-2 hosted grandparents or special friends for a special morning.
They joined together for the celebration of Mass and then played bingo and ate donuts together.
Many thanks to Hilary King, Angela Miller, and Elizabeth Thielen for organizing the event and to all the students and parents who assisted in setting up, greeting, serving, and cleaning afterward.

We couldn’t host events such as this without your help. Thank you!

Last Friday, April 17, speech students attended the middle school speech tournament at Millard West High School.
Congratulations to Henry Houghton for placing in the top five in Impromptu speaking and Caroline Seppala for finishing 2nd in Humorous Interpretation of Prose.

Annual Student Health Update Forms

Thank you to parents who have completed and submitted the Annual Student Health Update Form already.

In addition to providing immunization and other updates, the form allows parents to authorize the school to seek emergency medical treatment for children if necessary and to authorize the school to follow its asthma/anaphylaxis protocol for a student if applicable. Such authorizations are essential in order for school staff to act appropriately in critical situations.

Form submissions are due by May 1, 2026. To complete forms for your children, log into your parent PowerSchool account, click on Forms in the left navigation pane, and then open and complete the health form. The form will need to be completed and submitted for all children individually.

Click here for the parent PowerSchool login page. Contact Ray Bentzen (bentzenr@svdpomaha.org) if you need assistance accessing your account.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
