Did You Request a Hefty ReNew Starter Kit?
|
Thank you to the many Skokie residents who requested a Hefty® Renew™ Recycling Program starter kit for hard-to-recycle plastics. The Village has heard from some residents who registered for a kit but did not yet receive one from Hefty.
If you have not yet received your kit, you can pick one up at the following locations:
📍 Skokie Village Hall, 5127 Oakton St.
⏰ Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesdays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
📍Skokie Public Works, 9050 Gross Point Rd.
⏰ Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Kits are available while supplies last; limit one per household.
Eligibility: At this time, the Hefty ReNew program is only open to single-family homes in Skokie, as recyclables from larger residential buildings may not be directed to participating processing facilities. The Village hopes to expand the program in the future.
