The Olin GPO will host the second annual All Graduate Student Resource Fair on Tuesday, August 27th, in Knight Hall, 2nd floor atrium, from 3:30- 6:00 pm. Campus partners, food, swag, graduate clubs, and even a few furry friends will be available.

Professional headshots are available next week for all Olin graduate students. The session will run Monday the 26th through Thursday the 29th in the Knight Center, 4th floor. Schedule yours today!

Case Competition season is up and running full steam. Learn more about Olin’s past participation, our winners, our teams, and available case competitions for the new year. The GPO has contracted Jennifer Smith, a designer with the AGI (American Graphics Institute), to lead two three-hour PowerPoint Design Workshops on Friday, September 6, 2024, with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon. This class is for professionals looking to create successful, well-designed slide decks. Register to attend and learn to design creative and impactful decks!

- In Spring 2024, the Graduate Professional Council (GPC) and Graduate
Student Senate (GSS) voted to merge. GPSC is a unified student government representing all graduate and professional students at WashU. Learn more about GPSC, get involved, and attend a meeting. Each fall, the SMP Council hosts several signature events, including the formal at the Ritz Carlton and the October outing to Six Flags! These events are created for Specialized Masters's Students and funded through student fees. What is the SMP Council, and how can you participate?

MBA 2026 students have had a busy July and August! Students gathered for orientation, classes, an evening at The Forest Park Boathouse, a CitySC 2 game, and a CCE Network Happy Hour. What's next? DC and the Brookings Institute! Check out the smiles and excitement.

The Olin MBA class of 2025 grew by one more on July 26th. Joseph Frank Jedicka V made his debut, and what a darling baby boy! Congratulations to Joe Jedlicka(IV), MBA 2025, and his fantastic wife Meg. Check out this baby and his full head of hair!

The SMP advisors hosted a week-long program, part of G0-SMP titled Gateway to Olin for students who are new to US culture and universities. Students enjoyed classes in etiquette, pizza, and a few excursions! Check out the action. And then SMP GO started on Friday, August 16th! Check-in, ice cream bars, swag, and smiles!

The Reverse Student Group Career Fair will debut during the Fall 2024 Career Expo on September 26th. We’re flipping the Career Expo in this event, so employers come to YOU! A full schedule and links to register are available online!
- On August 5th, GMF 11 celebrated commencement with faculty and staff. 24 students completed the program and graduated. Twenty students are from the SMU track, and four are from the WHU track. Check out the smiles.
