HELP THE HAYDEN FAMILY SETTLE IN
The Haydens are long-time St. B’s parishioners. Josh and Anna have been serving as missionaries in Prague with their children Collier, Caleb, Abigail and Joseph. They return to Nashville August 1 and could use some help from St B’s in getting acclimated. Can you help out? Check the Sign Up Genius for opportunities and contact Shannon Truss with any questions.

At St. B's, one way that we share God's love is by supporting our parishioners with occasional meals during a hard season of life. The Manna Ministry provides meals for individuals and families upon an illness, recovery from surgery, the death of a loved one, or while caring for a newborn, an adopted child, or an older family member. If you've ever received a meal under these circumstances, you know what a gift it can be! Please consider adding your name to the distribution list for Manna, so that you can help others in our church family. Please email Mindy Mumme with any questions or to become part of this ministry.

There will be two formation offerings for adults from Sept. 8 to Oct. 6:
Being Gracious: What does it mean to be a vessel of God’s grace toward others, especially those who disagree with you politically? Join Rev. Serena and guests as we delve into the example of Jesus, the Episcopal Baptismal covenant, political stereotypes, and practical exercises. The goal is to help each other find ways to approach the coming election season with humility, humanity, and grace. Sundays at 10 a.m. in Wallace Hall.
Praying through the Times: Explore different types of prayer over five Sunday mornings, including praying with the Book of Common Prayer, praying with icons, walking prayer, centering prayer, and leading small group prayer. Each class will be led by a different parishioner knowledgeable in the particular prayer method and will include background information and an opportunity to pray together. Sundays at 10 a.m. in the Gym Classroom.

Would you like to show hospitality to the participants of our Catechesis Formation Course? We are looking for a few people to bring light meals or snacks for our weekend class July 26-28. Course participants will spend 90 hours learning about the spiritual development of children, so feeding them while they are on campus is truly a gift! Please see the Sign Up Genius here, or email Meredith with any additional questions.
