Registration is now open for virtual attendees to the 2023 Al‑Anon International Convention. The registration fee is $145 US and includes access to:

In Their Own Words and Voices

In 1982, three Al‑Anon pioneers participated in an audiovisual history project that provides a glimpse into Al‑Anon’s early days. The recording features Henrietta S., the first General Secretary, Margaret D., the first editor of The Forum, and Lois W., Cofounder of Al‑Anon. A 22‑minute film titled Lois W. & the Pioneers (AV‑24) features video excerpts from the project and can now be streamed online. A one‑week rental period is available for $25 US.

What Do Archives Coordinators Do?

Area Volunteers and Archives Coordinators are in many ways the collectors and distributors of memories. Here are some ways to manage the responsibility:

Participate in Area World Service Committees (AWSC) and preserve Committee minutes
Separate historical from routine correspondence
Scan items for digital preservation
Transport supplies and presentations to events
Find convenient storage locations, and
Maintain the anonymity of Al‑Anon and A.A. members.

Volunteers are always welcome.

The Forum Needs Your Sharings about Our Three Legacies!

Please consider writing about one of the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, or Twelve Concepts of Service, as your World Service Office receives very few sharings about them. Submissions should range from about 200 to 400 words.
