Colorado College Amazon Business Account Goes Live Today!

Colorado College has opened a new Amazon Business account for all future Amazon purchases.

As we previously shared with the community, CC has transitioned to an Amazon Business account, which goes into effect today. 

Why are we making this change? 

The new business account will simplify the purchasing process, consolidate deliveries, and help us maintain sales tax and purchasing compliance.

Our account will prioritize products with recognized sustainability certifications and sellers registered as small or diverse businesses (IDEAL sellers), reflecting CC’s commitment to sustainability, equity, and inclusion.

What are the next steps to join CC’s Business Account? 

If you’ve purchased from Amazon in the past year:

  • Look for an email invite from business@amazon.com with instructions to join.
  • Before joining, download your transaction history from your previous account to ensure your order history remains accessible to you.
  • If you did not receive an invite and are a P-Card holder who would like to request access, please email amazonbusiness@coloradocollege.edu.

How can I learn more? 

  • Thursday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m.: We will have a virtual buyer training session with our Amazon Business rep.

    • Please create your new CC Amazon Business Account prior to joining the live session.
    • Before activating your new account, we recommend downloading a 12-month order history from your existing account.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m.: We will have virtual open office hours for Q&A and account transition help.
