The 2023-24 school year is officially over and what an amazing year it has been! Without the students on campus, it’s unusually quiet. Well, except for the buzz of the cicadas that have found their way on campus!
The Office of Parent Engagement thanks you for allowing us the opportunity to serve your family this year. Our hope is that you have felt a deeper connection with the Lipscomb community through the events we have hosted, communication and prayer Zooms.
Several events are happening on campus and in cities across the country in the coming weeks. If we are in a city near you, please join us! If you are not following us on Instagram and Facebook, follow us so you can keep up with us over the summer!

SUMMER SEND-OFFS
Each summer, Lipscomb University parents and alumni partner with the Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement to host Summer Send-Offs for both current and incoming freshman students and their families. These informal gatherings provide the perfect chance for new Bison families to meet each other and visit with alumni, current students and parents to learn more about life at Lipscomb. We hope to see you at an event this summer! Registration opens May 22.

Parent Survey closes May 31
Thank you to those who have completed the parent survey sent out on May 8. As partners in the academic growth and overall well-being of your student(s), your feedback is vital to helping Lipscomb improve the student experience and better understand your perspective on your student’s experience.
This short survey will help ensure the university is meeting the needs of our Lipscomb University families and students. Click here to complete the survey before the May 31 deadline. 
July 12: Lipscomb Night with
the Nashville Sounds
Join your fellow Bisons for Lipscomb Night with the Nashville Sounds and cheer on our hometown team as it hosts the Iowa Cubs!
Lipscomb community members may choose from two price points for tickets: $15 or $20 before taxes and fees. The Lipscomb Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement will add a $10 concessions voucher to each ticket you purchase. It's a great time to connect with other Lipscomb families. You don't want to miss this fun night in Nashville!

SPRING COMMENCEMENT
According to the graduation office, May graduates can expect to receive their diplomas in the mail within 8-10 weeks of graduation.  Diplomas will be sent to the address students submitted as "diploma addresses" when filing Intent to Graduate forms at the beginning of the spring semester. The Lipscomb University photographer diligently caught many moments from the May ceremonies. Those are available to view on the Commencement page. Bison Parent Prayer Gathering image
Our office is excited to announce that we will host parent prayer Zooms this summer. We look forward to staying connected during the summer! Lipscomb parents Ron and Suellen Moen, who live in the Chicago area, are leading the Zooms. Our summer Zoom gatherings remain on June 4 and July 2 at 10:55 a.m. CT. Please join us from home or on vacation. We look forward to connecting with you over the summer!

COLLEGE CORNER
The spring semester was a busy time in each of the colleges with special lectures, competitions, activities and events supplementing the wonderful learning experiences that took place in the classroom. Learn more about some of the student successes this semester in this review from the Office of the Provost. 

We know that parents are interested in what’s going on in the colleges and what their students are involved in each semester. Beginning next school year, we will highlight news and happenings in each college for fall and spring semester in the September and February editions of the parent newsletter.

Elevate Moms offers a place to thrive
Nashville therapist Kim Anderson felt a calling to create a community where moms can go for healing, growth and support. Elevate Moms was created as a result and provides moms access to transformational tools they can use with their family.
