Join us on our community day of service. Please read descriptions for two of our ministry agencies below and consider working with them.
Martha O'Bryan exists to help families leave poverty in a single generation. We address community needs by building inclusive and equitable environments.
Learn more about them here.
During FaithWorks, our volunteers will gather together at the church to bake homemade cookies for Martha O’Bryan’s Meals on Wheels program, adding a sweet, personal touch to the meals delivered to seniors and homebound individuals. This activity is perfect for families with children old enough to work around the ovens in the kitchen. The young volunteers will also be decorating cards and bags that hold our homemade cookies. This small but heartfelt gesture not only provides a delicious treat but will remind recipients that they are cared for and remembered by their community.

Nation's Ministry helps refugees apply for green cards, become US citizens, and helps their children become US citizens through legal pathways.
Learn more about them here.
NM needs help with the following tasks:
  • Office work: clerical tasks (scanning old files—basic computer skills needed)
  • Yard work: trimming bushes in parking lot, leaf blowing; mulching, planting two landscaping plants, transplanting plants
  • Painting: windows; paint walls in a small room
  • Moving one piece of furniture
  • Deep cleaning
Please consider helping this wonderful organization.

Our sweet potato drop was a success!

Here is the backstory as to how it came together:
A local TN farmer donated all the sweet potatoes left in his fields after regular picking for grocery stores.
About 50 women & 1 man worked over three weeks to cut & knot 5,000 mesh bags.

About 100 people worked 4500 hours to bag 40,000 sweet potatoes.
Bags were picked up for distribution to hungry families by 10 non-profit agencies in middle TN to feed an estimated 4,000 families.
Our thanks to the Society of Saint Andrew for coordinating all of these efforts. Westminster folks are grateful to be a part of making it all happen.

Earth Day Tree Pickup

Our faith calls us to be caretakers of our planet, and Earth Day reminds us of our commitment to doing so.
In acknowledgement, please, order a tree through Green Interchange and then make plans to pick it up at the WPC North Entrance on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Redbuds and tulip poplars are the choices this year. Even if you don’t want to order one to take home and plant, Green Interchange is a worthwhile organization to support. Please thank Jill Sink for her efforts on our behalf in supporting this great outreach when you see her.
Reserve your trees or make a donation HERE  Specify WPC as the pickup spot. Plant the trees or give them to others to enjoy.
Contact Curtis Baysinger at cbaysinger2@gmail.com for questions.
