As the weather turns, we often look inward. While the introspection of the season begins, we hope you and yours are able to reflect on the impact of the work you do, and the importance of our connections with others. We recently convened professionals and scholars to explore the theme of Tender, Strong, and True Leadership and its focus on people, performance, and purpose at work. Here’s to a season of reflection on these ideas.
We are pleased to present an issue full-to-bursting with resources and ideas, including from Jim Sinegal (Costco co-founder) and Harry Kraemer (former CEO of Baxter) on how companies increasingly manage complex social issues. We share news on global efforts including a convening leading to the UN COP30 in Brazil and the UN Leaders Summit, highlights from our recent Fall Forum for professionals, insights on trust at work from our Executives in Residence, and much more. As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas. Warm wishes from campus!
