Summer is an important time for gaining experience and exposure to potential post-graduate interests. The Career Center is often asked what our students have been up to over the summer months. Please help us by completing the Summer Experience Survey. This should take less than 5 minutes. Completed responses are eligible for a gift from the Career Center.

Colorado College Mentoring Program

You are invited to join the Colorado College Mentoring Program! This program connects CC students with alumni and family members in a formal mentorship. This program is designed to last 7 months, although the relationships formed could last well into the future! 
Why participate? 
  • You will gain a professional resource and expand your network.
  • Your mentor can help you expand your knowledge and skills.
  • You will receive valuable advice, guidance, and recommendations to prepare you for your future.  
Mentee Application Window: August 28th – October 1st

Southern Colorado Startup Week Career Fair 2023

Date: Wednesday, September 13, 2023; 5-7:30 p.m.
Location: Berger Hall; 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918, United States
Please join us for the inaugural Southern Colorado Startup Week "Career Fair" at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs! Employers will have the chance to connect with students across multiple fields and 22 majors, as well as Colorado Springs community members at various stages of their careers.
This is a unique opportunity to get your business in front of both students and more experienced candidates from the wider COS community.These events are designed to stimulate innovation and foster entrepreneurial growth within the Southern Colorado community.

Colorado Business School Career Fair

Date: Friday, September 29, 2023; 10-2 p.m.
Location: Denver, Mile High Stadium

The Colorado Business School Career Fair offers business students an introduction to over 100 employers who are actively searching for candidates to fill both full-time positions and internship opportunities.  Register today for access to this incredible hiring event and research attending companies.

Students must dress professionally and review their resumes in advance and bring multiple printed copies to the fair.

Colorado Business School Career Fair Prep Session

Date: Monday, September 11, 2023; 12:15-1:15 p.m.
Location: Career Center Carriage House
The Colorado Business School Career Fair on 9/29 is a great opportunity to meet with over 100 employers hiring for jobs and internships. Attend this prep session first so that you feel prepared and confident walking in! During this workshop we will discuss what to expect at the fair, how to prepare for it beforehand, and important action items to do after the fair. Pizza will be provided.

D.A. Davidson | Info Session and Presentation

Date: Thursday, September 14, 2023; 1-2 p.m.

Join this event to hear from three Investment Bankers in our Denver Office! They will give an Introduction to D.A. Davidson Investment Banking, Investment Banking Industry Overview, speak on our Summer Analyst Program as well as our 1st year Analyst Program, answer questions from students, and more! Attending this event will give you the chance to meet successful investment bankers, who are experts in their trade, that will give valuable advice, tips, and insight. Highlighted Positions 


U.S. Figure Skating – Marketing & Communications Intern 
The Marketing & Communications Intern will support the Marketing and Communications departments across all projects. This will include marketing, communications, video, graphic creative, merchandise, and development. Responsibilities also include:
  • Managing the tagging of social posts through our social media vendors
  • Providing copywriting/editing support.
  • Contribute to U.S. Figure Skating’s social media strategy, including but not limited to content creation and branded campaigns.
  • Contribute to SKATING magazine, Learn to Skate USA blog, and other publications as assigned, including the opportunity for feature writing.
  • Create and grow our Quarterly Fan Newsletter and find ways for fans to sign up.
  • Research potential partners for U.S. Figure Skating and their tent-pole events.
  • Gathering insights from survey results and other data collection methods.
  • Program ideation and implementation.
