| Thank you to Texas Congressional leaders for signing on in support of AmeriCorps funding |
As Congress considers key decisions in allocating the FY25 federal budget, we are grateful to our state’s elected leaders who have publicly expressed their support for robust AmeriCorps funding. Last month, Texas Senator John Cornyn and Representatives Veronica Escobar, Sheila Jackson Lee, Jasmine Crockett, Colin Allred, and Lloyd Doggett signed on to letters urging appropriators to fund AmeriCorps at the highest levels possible "to protect service opportunities for 210,000 Americans of all ages, make further investments in member benefits, drive more impact, and continue to improve the agency’s financial management and operations.”
Like and share our social media posts to express your appreciation for these Congressional leaders who are taking a stand for service!
