The time has come—this weekend, you will graduate and officially become Colorado College alumni! We are so proud of you and look forward to honoring your achievements throughout Commencement weekend.
Here are the final details and key reminders:

Mandatory Commencement Rehearsal, Friday, May 15, 10:45 a.m.
All graduates are required to attend rehearsal in order to walk in Sunday’s ceremony. Line up in the quad between South Hall and Shove Memorial Chapel, with rehearsal ending in Ed Robson Arena. After the rehearsal, graduates are invited to stick around for a celebratory lunch on the concourse level of Robson (this event is for seniors only). -
Senior Class Photo, Saturday, May 16, 2 p.m.
Graduates will gather on the steps of Palmer Hall for the senior class photo (cap and gown required), then line up to proceed directly to Shove Memorial Chapel for Baccalaureate. - Baccalaureate, Saturday, May 16, 3 p.m., Shove Memorial Chapel (cap and gown required)
This event kicks off Commencement weekend with a chance to reflect and express gratitude. Lori Driscoll ’94, Professor, Chair of Neuroscience & Psychology, will give this year’s Baccalaureate address. -
Departmental Receptions See the full schedule of department-specific receptions, most of which take place Saturday afternoon after Baccalaureate. You will also receive invitations directly from your academic departments.
- Commencement, Sunday, May 17, 8:30 a.m., Ed Robson Arena
This is the culmination of the academic year and a time to honor the graduates of the Class of 2026. Renowned voice actor Dee Bradley Baker ’86 will deliver the Commencement address.

Call time for graduates on Commencement morning is 7:45 a.m. Graduates assemble on the quad between South Hall and Shove Memorial Chapel. Doors to Ed Robson Arena will open to guests at 7 a.m. Guests should be seated by 8:20 a.m. The event will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude by 11 a.m. Guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once seating is full, standing-room-only space will be available. Please remind your guests to allow ample time for traffic, parking, and entry into the venue.
Important: Please bring only your cell phone to Commencement, as no storage option will be available for graduates. Every graduate will be required to have gowns unzipped prior to entering the arena, and no empty bottles, cans, or containers of ANY kind will be permitted into the event.
Post-Commencement Reception
Immediately following Commencement (approximately 11 a.m.), the entire campus community is invited to attend a reception hosted by President Whitaker on Tava Quad until approximately 1 p.m. Please plan to meet your family on Tava quad by your departmental major sign.

Key Reminders
Baccalaureate and Commencement are open only to graduates and ticketed guests. A livestream for both ceremonies will be available online for those unable to attend in person.
Transfer Tickets to your Guests
Don’t forget to transfer tickets to your guests via CC Ticketmaster. Guests must also create an account to claim transferred tickets and enter the venue. Complete, step-by-step ticket information can be found on the ticketing information webpage. All tickets are electronic and must be scanned from a mobile device.
Cap and Gown Pickup
Be sure to pick up your regalia from the CC Bookstore between 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, or Friday, May 15.
Commencement Photos
GradImages will be on campus during Commencement weekend to capture the moment. Register in advance to view and purchase photos more quickly after graduation.

Parking and Road Closures
All Commencement attendees may park anywhere on campus (no fees or permits apply, except the third floor of the Ed Robson Arena parking garage on East Dale Street, which is reserved for guests with limited mobility who require parking close to the venue. Accessible parking is also available on all levels of the Ed Robson Arena parking garage and in other parking lots on campus. Golf carts will be available from parking areas across campus to transport guests to Ed Robson Arena.
On Sunday, May 17, expect traffic congestion in the area throughout the morning. The following roads will be closed for Commencement activities:
Cache La Poudre St. from N. Nevada Ave. to N. Cascade Ave.
N. Tejon St. from E. Dale St. to E. Cache La Poudre St.
