The spring semester is off to a great start! On campus we have several events coming up that we would love for you to be a part of. This Thursday, everyone on campus will be involved in Giving Day 2024! We love seeing our students, families, alumni and friends of Lipscomb from near and far join together to further the mission of Lipscomb University.

Singarama, one of the largest student performances, is coming up in April. It is a "must see" performance! Our students put so many hours into this production. A special Singarama Parent Dinner is happening on Saturday, April 6 before the evening performance. We hope to see you there!

Giving Day is this Thursday!

Parents and members of the Lipscomb community are invited to make a gift this Thursday, Feb. 22 to support Lipscomb students on Giving Day 2024! What matters most on Giving Day is your participation. No matter the size, your gift makes an impact!

Join the Herd and spread the word—become a Giving Day Ambassador! Promote Lipscomb Giving Day by sharing branded content on social media and encouraging family and friends to participate on Giving Day. Lipscomb Night at the Preds

Join your fellow Bisons for Lipscomb Night at the Preds at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Feb. 27 and cheer on our hometown team as it hosts the Ottawa Senators. This is College Rivalry Night—Lipscomb vs. Belmont, so let's fill Bridgestone with Bison spirit.
Tickets are available in both lower and upper levels through the link below. All tickets include a limited-edition co-branded Preds hat! Register for the April 6 Singarama Parent and Family Dinner

Parents, join us for dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 between Singarama shows. The dinner will be held in Faculty Club 1891 located on the second floor of Bennett Campus Center.

During the dinner Landon Parrish (’16), our assistant dean of student engagement, will share the history of Singarama and a "behind-the-scenes" view of the work our students have put into this event. Cost is $12 per person. REGISTER by March 28 to attend the dinner.

Join us on Tuesday, March 5, at 10:55 a.m. CT for our monthly prayer Zoom. This time coincides with our students worshiping together on campus in the Gathering. Our guest speaker will be Chris Klotz, director of spiritual formation.

FINANCIAL AID

The 2024-2025 FAFSA is now available. Schools have been notified that aid reports on students will not be sent from the Department of Education until mid-March. However, it is still in your best interest to file as soon as possible. Filing early will allow us to package students more efficiently. To file, visit www.studentaid.gov.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTER

As online recruiting and interviewing becomes more prevalent, it’s important to us that your student is prepared to thrive in any interview setting.

To supplement the mock interviews our coaches offer in-office, the Lipscomb career centers have invested in a program called Big Interview, which allows students to practice virtual interviewing anytime, anywhere they have internet access. A recorded interviewer asks questions from a question bank specific to their field and the students’ answers are instantly assessed for quality content, delivery, and body language. We encourage all students to use this tool for extra practice and to gain comfortability with common questions.
