Colorado College’s Open Education Faculty Curriculum Development Grants
Last Spring, the Dean of the Faculty and the Tutt Library announced Colorado College’s first Faculty Curriculum Development grants related to Open Education. We are excited to highlight the impact of several of your colleagues who are exploring Open Education and report on our successes. We are also excited to announce another round of grants to support Open Pedagogy coming in February.
2023-2024 OER Grant Summary
This year, the grant funding supported 14 faculty here at Colorado College with direct financial support and hands-on help from librarians specializing in OER and Open Education. With a direct investment of $36,000, the program is estimating a direct savings for students of $113,573! Development money for faculty, savings for students, and open pedagogy and resources that have the potential to change education.
Here are the numbers:

We want to CONGRATULATE the faculty that participated this year and remind the rest of the community that there are folks in the library available to help anyone with Open Access and Open Education questions throughout the year. Watch for that announcement of development grants in February.
