You are invited to join us for a Listening Campaign session.
Each gathering will be a space where we will listen and share together in hopes of discerning what God has in store for our church community.
Each session should last about an hour and you are not required to bring anything but yourself and an openness to the Holy Spirit. Click here to view the available sessions and sign up to participate.

| Celebrate with the St. B's Sunday |
The St. B’s choir will be singing at the annual Absalom Jones Service at Christ Church Cathedral this Sunday, February 23 at 3:00 p.m.
This special service honors Absalom Jones, founder of the first Black Episcopal congregation in the United States in 1794 and the first African American ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church. He remains a powerful figure in our faith and is commemorated on the Episcopal calendar of saints.

| Hands-on opportunity March 1 |
Help remove invasive trees, shrubs, vines, and plants in designated areas around our campus! St. B's is partnering with The Garden Club of Nashville as part of the broader Weed Wrangle project. On Saturday, March 1, we will remove invasive, non-native plants from certain areas, which will later be replaced with native species that bring maximum benefit to our ecosystem. All the training and instructions needed will be provided that day.
This opportunity is ideal for people who love to be outside and who can bend, dig, and cut. If mobility limits you, you're welcome to come for fellowship and to cheer us on. Long-time parishioners can offer stories about what used to happen here and there on St. B's grounds—sign up for the "oral history" participant slot! Families are welcome, but since sharp tools will be on the premises, parents must be attentive to little ones.

For the Poor and Neglected
|
Almighty and most merciful God, we remember before you all poor and neglected persons whom it would be easy for us to forget: the homeless and the destitute, the old and the sick, and all who have none to care for them. Help us to heal those who are broken in body or spirit, and to turn their sorrow into joy. Grant this, Father, for the love of your Son, who for our sake became poor, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
