The Class of 2024 have already taken their education into their own hands while learning a new language and adapting to a different culture. Their first weeks on campus are intentionally designed to prepare them for a life-changing study abroad experience through early immersion. Students haven’t merely stepped into an international classroom, they’ve jumped into the local community.

It's back to school at SYA and time to get cozy with new SYA fall apparel. Wear while walking the dog, attending a soccer or football game, strolling through the farmers market or as you're going through security getting ready to board for your next adventure.

The SYA Fund, our annual giving program, helps this year's students to have a life-changing experience abroad. Did you know that ...
🎟️ $10 = a local museum ticket.
🗞️ $25 = one campus newspaper subscription.
🍎 $50 = one student lunch for a week.
⚽️ $100 = soccer club fees for two students.
🚌 $500 = transportation for a class excursion.
🧳 $1,500 = semester travel for one student.

With the start of school at SYA, it's a good time to highlight those alumni who work at the high school level. We're doing our homework, but could use your help on this group project. If you're working at the high school level as a teacher, staff or admin, let us know! We might also call on you when our admissions team is in your area.

Recruiting the Class of 2025!
|
The SYA admissions team has started visiting schools across the country recruiting for SYA Class of 2025! We will be hosting virtual information sessions for future SYAers and their families. We are also excited to share that the application for full year and semester programs is now open.
If you know students who would be a great fit for SYA, please send them this information. Many students learn about SYA from friends and family — you could be the reason a student gets the chance to experience SYA!

SYA is due for re-accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and will undertake a process of self-study this school year. In the coming weeks, surveys will be emailed to various groups within the SYA community. If you receive a survey, please take the time to complete it — your insights and feedback are important!
