Want to help a student win $500? Nominate them for the Student Impact and Advocacy Leadership Award! One finalist from each college could be awarded a $500 stipend for actions demonstrating impact and advocacy at UTHSC and our community, in support of the UTHSC Strategic Plan. Nominations close tomorrow, September 29.

Research Resource Fair TODAY!

The Research Resource Fair is TODAY, September 28, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the Madison Plaza Lobby! Visit with representatives from the UTHSC colleges, the UTHSC library, UTRF, and several research centers and institutes, and learn about tools and services available to researchers. There will be door prizes, refreshments, and more!

Join SASSI at The Learning Table, a series to help students build effective learning strategies! The Learning Table session on Thursday, October 5, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, in the SASSI conference room (GEB CB5), will cover the ins-and-outs of previewing for classes. Lunch will be provided! Students must RSVP through Engage.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by taking part in an essay contest from OIED! Write a paragraph or two about a Hispanic person in the UTHSC community who has impacted you or made a significant contribution in their field. Each participant will be entered to win a gift card!

Share your feedback with the Memphis Medical District Collaborative by Saturday, September 30, for a chance to win a $50 gift card! The MMDC works with partners including UTHSC to improve the Medical District. The survey helps MMDC assess its work and make plans for the future.
