As we near the halfway point of the UT Health Science Center Family Campaign, you are invited to a campaign celebration Tuesday, September 17, from 9:00 – 11:00 am, in the Student-Alumni Center. Stop by for free breakfast and get a sip-and-stir mug with a donation of $10 more and a badge reel with a monthly donation of $5 or more through payroll deduction!

Vols Football Watch party September 21!

Join us in cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers at a football game watch party Saturday, September 21, 3:00 – 10:00 pm, in the Crowe, Mooney, and Nash Courtyard! Kickoff is at 6:30 pm. Some food will be provided, and you are free to bring additional snacks. RSVP for a ticket and register for one of 16 tailgate spots if you’d like one!

Nominate a Student Who Makes an Impact

Do you know a student whose actions demonstrate impact and advocacy at UT Health Science Center and our community? Nominate them for the Student Impact and Advocacy Leadership Award! One finalist from each college could be awarded a $500 stipend. The nomination deadline is Saturday, September 21.

Attend the next Mind, Body, Wellness session focused on coping with traumatic events Wednesday, September 18, 10:00 – 11:00 am, in the HR Training Room, 910 Madison, Suite 753, and on Zoom. Attendees will explore the impact of trauma and healthy ways to react to such events.

Register now for the Office of Access and Compliance’s next Book Club at the Center discussion Wednesday, September 25, 12:00 – 1:00 pm, on Zoom. This month’s book is “Take My Hand” by Dolen Perkins Valdez. Registration will remain open until the day of the discussion.
